PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Business One (B1) is an affordable ERP solution targeting small enterprises worldwide. B1

is the top selling ERP product in SAP with more than 32,000 customers in 100+ countries. B1 is

highly profitable and has been showing strong market traction and positive future growth

trajectory. Building on the continuing momentum, in addition to strengthening localization for

key markets such as BRIC, SAP is also investing in several game changer opportunities: B1 9.0

is the next major release in B1 Family, including significant enhancement in business logic,

integration and implementation tool; B1 Cloud, as part of SAP’s overall Cloud strategy, will offer

users great HTML-based user experience, high flexibility and low TCO; B1 HANA adopts the

SAP in-memory technology and provide real-time enterprise computing.

The global Business One Development and Support organization is led by a Shanghai-based

SVP. Now we are looking for a passionate, driven, and dedicated professional to be the

Executive Assistant to the SVP.

This opportunity will offer firsthand experience on how SVP-level executives work, and is a great

opportunity to broaden one’s horizon and prepare for future career advancement.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As part of the Business One Operations team, Executive Assistant to SVP has the following

responsibilities:

• Develop project scope, timelines and action plans for executive support projects including

management reporting

• Preparation, execution and following up of important meetings with internal and external

stakeholders

• Preparation of presentations, reports, and other management documents,

• Provide liaison between the SVP and other key executives and employees

• Coordination and execution of cross-unit projects and special tasks as well as cooperation

with other areas such as GTM

• Assisting in strategic topics as requested

• Carry out other important assignments given by the SVP

The individual needs to be:

• Highly motivated

• Flexible in terms of work arrangement

• Methodically in preparation and following up

• Excellent in verbal and written communication, both in English and Chinese

• Excellent in MS Office skills, such as PowerPoint

• Can work effectively with senior managers across location and culture

In addition,

• Familiarity with product development and support life cycles is a plus

• Familiarity with Business One also a strong plus

The position is based in Shanghai, China.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• University degree in related field

• A post-graduate degree (e.g. MBA) would be advantageous

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of professional experience, thereof 2+ within SAP preferred

• Project Management experience preferred
